I would like to reach out to my fellow Vegan and ask him what is he doing here. You know you can be disfellowshipped for being here so what's the deal? Apparently you don't believe the society speaks for Jehovah because you most certainly wouldn't disobey God, and if you don't believe they speak for God, why are you a jw. I refuse to believe you came here just to be an ass. Surely you have something better to do with your life like studying watchtower publications, distributing watchtower publications, going to watchtower approved meetings, help build a kingdom hall so people can study watchtower publication as a group, tour the watchtower headquarters, etc.

  You should use cannabis instead of drinking. It's a lot safer. You can't overdose from cannabis, it's not addictive, and there are no hangovers! Plus it makes you happy as oppose to alcohol which makes you sad.

  No Memorial For Ray Franz.

  i've read on multiple threads that ray will not have a memorial service per his request and that he will be cremated.

  on one hand this is good because it's confirms his sincerity and humility and shows he doesn't seek praise or attention.

  it's more evidence that his books were written honestly and weren't written out of spite or for just monetary gain.

  I've read on multiple threads that Ray will not have a memorial service per his request and that he will be cremated. On one hand this is good because it's confirms his sincerity and humility and shows he doesn't seek praise or attention. It's more evidence that his books were written honestly and weren't written out of spite or for just monetary gain. On the other hand this strikes me as a bit selfish. Many people including myself were looking forward to attending his memorial and meeting others who he helped awaken. The service could of been conducted by former bethelites, do's, co's, etc. who knew Franz and could share interesting personal stories about his life and he helped them. It could of been such a wonderful celebration of a man who lived such a wonderful life and helped so many. I'm little hurt that he requested not to have a memorial, but I'm sure he had a good reason and I'll respect his decision.

  i do not wish to belabor the subject, but i am a smidge confussed.

  i understand that his chances do not look good and everyone seems in agreement as to his condition but...has ray actually died?

  i ask because the last i heard was that support was soon to be removed, but wikipedia lists his date of death as today.

All these things lead me to encourage you to talk to your doctor NOW. ...............................Something is 'off kilter' and it sounds like you need help stabilizing before something cracks inside you.

  Elder reqeust me as a friend on Facebook I accept but he never talks to me. WTF?!

  after being inactive for 3 years an elder from my old congo request me as a friend and never tries to get me to come back to the hall.

  i don't want to return but i at least want t be asked.

  He doesn't have my e-mail address. Plus we spoke once when I accepted and he made no mention of anything related to Jehovah's Witnesses.
